Our Story

ENGAGED ON AUGUST 16, 2024

We are excited to share this special day with you. Join us as we celebrate our love and commitment to each other on the summer solstice.

Who said you can't meet someone special through online dating? We certainly didn't believe it when we found each other! From our very first conversation, we felt the connection that sparked this incredible journey together. The anticipation of meeting each other was filled with nervous energy and that went away rather quickly as we started to chat.

In lieu of gifts, we kindly ask our guests to consider donating to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, using the link below. Your contributions will directly support the research fund for Dr. Borthakur, a dedicated Professor in the Department of Leukemia. Since 2018, he has focused on advancing therapies for acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), striving to improve outcomes for patients suffering from this terrible disease.

This cause is particularly close to our hearts, as Fredric's father was a patient of Dr. Borthakur for over 11 years until his passing on September 25, 2022.

Thank you for your generosity.
